First day on the new job
First day at CNN.com and right now I’m just killing time again. I guess it’s cause I’m still waiting for the other guy to come in and train me some more, but I hope this is not a prediction of things to come.
I know I haven’t really done one of these in a while and I figure now would be as good a time as any. I’m about to move out of my dad’s and move in with my wonderful girlfriend of almost seven years, and I can’t wait. It’s one of those times in life where you are really excited and nervous at the same time. I’d have to say that I’m more excited than nervous though.
It’s really a lot to do when you get a place, and it’s such a pain when you’ve got a million other things going on. We really need a couch more than anything right now, and I don’t want to end up sitting on furniture that’s older than I am and is a huge eyesore and is uncomfortable and stinks (like someone’s couch I know).
Well hopefully the day will pick after a bit, if not I’ve got another long six hours ahead of me.
