Whitney’s first day of grad school

Well Whitney’s started grad school this week, and she has been completely exhausted every time I’ve talked to her. I hope she’s not putting too much on her plate by working part-time and going to school. She said the other day that she’s the only one working in her classes.
If it comes to it she may have to cut back her work hours cause it would really be a waste to not get everything she can out of going back to school.
Grad school and working on top of trying to plan a wedding is going to wear her out I’m sure. Lately it’s been hard enough for us to even see each other, let alone plan a wedding!
I’d like to try and get out and check out some places this weekend, but it’s going to be tough with my schedule. Hopefully we can get this ball rolling in the right direction and get it done with the least amount of stress possible.
I’ve searched high and low and have finally discovered why the internet was invented. It needs no introduction….just watch.
So I looked back and saw it had been over a month, I need to keep up better than that. A lot has happened since then, Whitney and I got engaged earlier this week and we’re planning on getting married on May 20th next year.
Our wedding site will be at: www.mattandwhitney.com
I’m still doing overnights, but I’m starting to come in some for my new job now, so the light is starting to get brighter. I just want to be back on a somewhat normal schedule so I can join the rest of the world. It seems like I have all this stuff to do sometimes, and I never have the time to do it, because the time that I do have is at 2 or 3 in the morning when everyone else is asleep. It’s hard to try to get with people to do something when you’re asleep for the better part of the day, and they’re asleep when you’re wide awake.
Anyway, I don’t want to go on a rant like Dennis Miller and Mikhail Gorbachev in a tiny room full of paper towels and bottles of stain remover. (His really don’t make that much sense either)
But I’m real excited about this wedding. I know that we’re perfect for each other and I really can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her. I know this next year is going to be pretty stressful with the planning and everything, but I can’t wait.
I’ll let you know how things are going in another month or two, the gap between these posts just seems to get longer and longer.
