Testing out the new Wordpress
So far this new Wordpress is pretty sweet!
Hope I don’t hit some obscure snags down the road!

Well Mike looks like you’re in for it now buddy. I wanted to hope that there was maybe possibly a slim chance that this would all blow over and it would have all been your buddies’ fault and you’d have no problems. But man they don’t just throw around federal indictments just to watch people squirm.
We’re talking prison time now. At this point I don’t see how anybody can support Mike Vick and it’s going to be hard to watch and cheer for his team on Sundays in the fall. Anybody that is involved in these underground dogfighting rings is just sick.
They may not care about dogs because they’re animals, but they feel pain just as much as a person does. And some of the ways they’ve said they killed dogs is just gruesome. I don’t want to really explain it, but the whole indictment pretty much spells it out.
I don’t even think prison time is enough punishment for these guys… well your mediocre career has been thrown down the toilet by a stupid gambling habit. Hope you’re cool with that.
When I was out playing golf at the Hooch in Duluth last weekend there was a company picnic going on right next to the golf course. They were playing a bunch of loud party music which wasn’t too bad until you got right there next to it, then it was kind of distracting.
The wierdest thing about it though, there was one of those inflatable slide things for kids to play on, and this one was made to look like the sinking Titanic. Now the Titanic was a disaster and hundreds of people died because of it, why would they decide to make a children’s playground out of it?
That’s like saying why don’t we just make a playground toy that recreates the Challenger, or how about the Hindenburg?
This just seemed kinda ridiculous to me.
I just read about an interesting project earlier today about taking a photo every day for a year. I think iit’d be pretty cool to be able to go back and look at everything you’ve done in the past year. I know there’s been many days in my life that are a complete wash to me. And there are some days that I’d always like to go back and relive.
I’m sure it’ll be tough to keep up (much like this hasn’t really been on the top of my to do’s). But with a camera in my phone I don’t really have an excuse for never having a camera on me.
Well we picked up our first baby last weekend. Her name is Chloe and she is adorable! We adopted her from a foster care program on Saturday and she has spent the week at home with us. It really is a lot of work to make sure she’s not eating something she’s not supposed to or going to the bathroom all over the place.
But she’s really adjusting well to us. You can tell she’s learning what she is and isn’t supposed to do and her tail keeps wagging more and more each day!
In other news I also went out and bought my first set of wheels. I got a 2003 Silver Nissan Xterra. It’s a pretty sweet ride and I like it a lot. I have to admit I was pretty intimidated about the whole negotiating with the dealer process, you just have to stand your ground and don’t cave in. The whole thing is just nasty the way they try to get you.
That’s it for now…back to work!
Well this blog is starting to become that relative that you only check in on every now and then with to make sure they’re still there. My intentions have always been to keep it up and do it, but I’m not going to make any promises like that to myself.
Whitney and I are married now!! We had a beautiful ceremony and everything went great. The weather was perfect for the outdoor wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day.
Of course, she was amazing too. I never imagined having such a beautiful bride.
After the wedding we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time. It was the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. I hope some day we can go back. We got to take a helicopter ride around the island of Maui and saw some really cool waterfalls and mountains. There’s a lot of honeymoon pics here.
