Welcome back, welcome back, wel-come ba-aa-ack
Well there’s been a little bit of a hiatus in putting the site together. My service provider had some hardware issues and everything went down for a while. Luckily, everything was recovered and I can get back working without having to restart.
Also, I have a couple of other possible sites that may be coming up. So like every other time, I’ve put myself on the back burner to work on something else. But hey, if I can get paid for doing something I’d rather just do that. I’ll have a chance to get mine finished sometime.
Braves start playoffs tomorrow
Well the Braves have made the playoffs for the 14th straight year. Even with all of the injuries and playing with a lot of rookies, they still managed to pull it off and win their division. I’m just hoping they’ll be able to make it past Houston and close the deal this year. We’ve got some tough pitching to face with Pettite, Clemens and Oswalt, so now it’s time to see what those rookies really can do.
I’ll be going to the game on Thursday, which should be a good one (Smoltz vs. Clemens) and possibly, depending on how the series goes, Clemens’ last game.
I’ve been a Braves fan for a long time and I think we really have a shot this year. Nobody at ESPN is giving us a chance against Houston’s pitching, but I think with the homefield advantage and the way we’ve been playing we’ve got every chance to beat them. Hudson’s starting in game one and he’s only given up 1 run in 16 innings of 2 career starts against Houston. So I’m satisfied with our pitching against their offense.
We’re going to have be on our A game and really take advantage of those first two games if we want to be in St. Louis next week.
